NSCAD Press on Two-Year Hiatus E-mail
Written by Michael LeBlanc

Earlier this month, we received an email from Susan McEachern, Editorial Director of The Press:

The Press of the Nova Scotia Art and Design will be taking a two-year moratorium on the production of new publications starting July 2010.  The Press will continue to promote and distribute its existing publications as well as fulfill its contractual obligations to all of our authors and editors. We hope to renew our publishing activities in 2012.

Thank you very much for your interest in publishing with the Press.  I am sorry that we cannot review your manuscript for publication at this time but I sincerely hope that you will consider us in the future when we resume publication activities.

Work on the book progresses, but we are, for the moment, without a publisher!

EA: I would only consider being married by Canon Cody inside the boiler of an old railway engine, no guests.
